Trip to the Apple Orchard

YahYah and PaPa came to Atlanta this weekend to celebrate Mommy's birthday. Daddy and Mommy had a date night all by themselves Friday night. Saturday morning Daddy had a signing and PaPa helped. YahYah and Mommy took the boys to Hillcrest Apple Orchard in Ellijay, GA. We had tons of fun. We went to the petting zoo. The boys were able to hold baby chicks, feed the baby goats and pet the baby cow and pig. Josh LOVED the animals and decided to walk up to every baby goat and say "hi". It was the cutest thing.

Afterwards, we went to the playground and the boys were able to slide down a 200 ft. slide. Josh was a little unsure, but he watched Jack a couple of times and was able to muster the courage up to go down. Once he did, it was a miracle to get him off. :-) Then the boys went on a pony ride. Josh enjoyed it, but Jack was a little bored after riding bigger horses at Tatum and Katharyn's birthday party. They had a bungee jump that Jack decided that he wanted to try it. He definitely has an adventurous side to him. He was so high and loving every minute of it. Josh decided to pass on that activity. Jack and Josh had the opportunity to milk a cow. Josh decided that he would pass, but Jack stepped right up and started like he had been doing it his whole life.

Lastly, we went on a wagon ride through the orchard. After all those activities, we decided that we were too tired to pick our own apples. We went into the store and bought some that were already packaged. Hope you like all the pictures!
